I was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Miami, FL. Spanish is my first language and I have used it throughout my life. I feel as comfortable speaking, writing, and reading in Spanish as I do in English. 

I began taking Japanese in second year of college. I enjoyed the language so much I decided to take two years of it and I minored in it. I intend to become fluent in the language, but for now I am at an intermediate proficiency.
