The Japanese club hosts language tables on Mondays every week for students to improve their Japanese skills.
Shimane Students
This is one of the most exciting parts of being a member and officer of the Japanese club. Students from Shimane University join us on campus and we show them around and learn more about each others cultures.
Socials
Socials are a great opportunity for members to get to know each other and form bonds. We hold two socials every month.
Big/Little Program
Older members of the club mentor younger members in everything from club duties and events, to Japanese skills and college tips. If a person is interested in becoming an officer, they are mentored by an officer in the club.
Haru Matsuri
Haru Matsuri (Spring festival) is our large keystone event that we hold every March. All members work together to make it a success.
Volunteering
The Japanese club works with philanthropic organizations such as OnigiriAction that aims to end food insecurity. Japanese club members are involved in their community and aim to make an impact in it.
